IAA UK AUCTIONS and LKQ SYNETIQ strive for continual improvement in energy performance. This includes, where practicable, preventing energy use at source.
The objectives of IAA UK AUCTIONS and LKQ SYNETIQ are to:
- Develop and maintain an Energy Management system with the aim of meeting the requirements of the ISO 50001:2018 standard
- Comply with all relevant legislation, regulations and other legal and industry requirements in relation to energy use, consumption and efficiency
- Determine, address and provide adequate and appropriate control of energy risks arising from our activities
- Minimise energy usage through energy performance improvements in our facilities, equipment and processes
- Ensure future processes and activities are given due energy usage consideration
- Seek to minimise the environmental impact of our operations by reducing energy consumption and implementing initiatives to reduce energy use
The management system, policy, objectives, and targets will be reviewed annually (or sooner if necessary) by Top Management. This policy statement is communicated to all employees and persons working for or on behalf of the organisation and will be made available to the public, stakeholders and any other interested parties on request
